Hinode was established in Japan in 1955 and had been producing Hinode fuses and Kyosan Clearup fuses in the past as an original equipment manufacturer. In 2009, Kyosan decided to stop selling Kyosan Clearup fuses, so Hinode took over sales of the product.

Hinode has been manufacturing and selling fast fuses since 1974. Hinode protection fuses have been refined and perfected since their original development to protect SSR and SCR semiconductors, inverter servo amplifiers, UPS, power conditioners and more.
