CORODUR 51 ist C- Cr- Si- Mn- legierter Fülldraht mit einer martensitischen Matrix und einem hohen Anteil an M7C3 Cr-Karbiden mit hervorragendem Widerstand gegen stark schmirgelnden Verschleiß bei mittlerer Schlagbeanspruchung bis 450 °C. Bei zwei Schweißlagen werden sehr gute Ergebnisse erreicht. Das Schweißgut kann nicht spangebend bearbeitet und geschmiedet werden. Beim Beschichten alter Auftragschichten wird eine Pufferlage mit CORODUR 200 K oder CORODUR 250 K empfohlen.
