The 1981i (wireless) area imaging scanner reads 1D and 2D barcodes from 15 cm (6 inches) to 15 m (50 ft). They employ a variety of techniques to increase their ease of use, greatly reducing the way guesswork works to determine whether a scan is or not. The Granit 1981i scanner is IP65 rated and can withstand harsh environments.
