Causes and troubleshooting of industrial chillers

1. High condensing pressure (higher than the specified value) failure causes and remedies:

  ①There is non-condensable gas in the system: release non-condensable gas.

  ②The chiller has insufficient cooling water and the water temperature is too high: check if the water valve is open and the water filter is blocked, try to lower the water temperature.

  ③ There is dirt in the condenser that affects the heat transfer area: clean the condenser.

  ④ Too much liquid in the condenser: release excess refrigerant.

   2. Compressor suction pressure is too low failure causes and remedies:

  ①Liquid throttle valve or suction filter is blocked: disassemble, inspect and clean.

  ② Insufficient refrigerant in the system: replenish refrigerant.

  ③ Insufficient refrigerant in the evaporator: open a large throttle.

  ④There is too much oil in the system: find the oil-collecting part of the system and release the oil.

   3. The chiller compressor stops shortly after it starts. Causes and remedies:

  ①The oil pressure is too low: Use the oil pressure regulating valve to increase the oil pressure. If it cannot be increased, check and repair according to the serial number 6.

  ②The setting value of the oil pressure difference relay is too high: re-adjust.

  4. Compressor discharge temperature relative to pressure drop and high temperature failure causes and remedies:

  ①The temperature of the inhaled gas is too high: Check and adjust according to the serial number 5.10.

  ②The exhaust valve is broken: Open the cylinder head to check the valve.

  ③Safety valve leakage: check the safety valve for adjustment and repair.

  ④ Piston ring leakage: check, repair or replace.

  ⑤ The gasket under the cylinder liner is broken and leaking: check and replace.

  5. Reasons and remedies for compressor failure to start:

  ① Gas line failure: check and repair.

  ②The differential pressure relay is disconnected, and the high-voltage circuit breaker is disconnected: press the reset button of the differential pressure relay and wait for the pressure change to

   6. Remedy for insufficient refrigeration capacity:

  ①The position of the spool valve is inappropriate or other failures: check the indicator and adjust the position to repair the spool valve.

  ②The suction filter is blocked, the suction pressure loss is too large, the suction pressure drops, and the volumetric efficiency is reduced: remove the filter screen of the suction filter and clean it.

  ③ Abnormal wear and tear of the machine causes excessive gaps: adjust or replace parts.

  ④The suction pressure is lower than the evaporation pressure. Check the valve (such as suction stop valve or check valve, etc.)

  ⑤ Leakage between high and low pressure systems; check the bypass pipelines used for driving and stopping.

  ⑥Insufficient fuel injection volume can not achieve the sealing effect: check whether the safety valve is sealed, check the oil circuit, oil pump, and oil filter to increase the oil volume.

  ⑦The exhaust pressure of the machine is much higher than the condensing pressure, and the volumetric efficiency is reduced: check the exhaust system pipes and valves, and remove the resistance of the exhaust system. If air leaks into the system, it should be eliminated.

  ① Insufficient refrigerant in the system: replenish refrigerant.

  ④The low-pressure pipe insulation of the refrigeration system is not good: check and repair.

   8. Compressor unloading device mechanism failure causes and remedies:

  ①Insufficient oil pressure: Adjust the oil pressure to be 0.15-0.2Mpa higher than the suction pressure.

  ②The oil pipe is blocked: disassemble and clean.

  ③ There is dirt stuck in the cylinder: disassemble and clean.

   Nine. How to troubleshoot abnormal noise during machine operation:

  ①There are sundries in the rotor tooth slots: check the rotor and suction filter.

  ②The thrust bearing is damaged: replace it.

  ③The friction between the rotor and the casing caused by bearing wear: replace the main bearing.

  ④Spool valve deflection: repair the spool valve guide block and guide post.

  ⑤ Loose joints of moving parts: disassemble the machine for maintenance and strengthen anti-loosening measures.
