Compressor common fault handling

Compressor common fault handling Foam when starting with liquid When the air-cooled compressor is started, the phenomenon that the lubricating oil in the crankcase blisters violently is called liquid start. The basic reason for starting with liquid is that a large amount of refrigerant dissolved in the lubricating oil and sinking under the lubricating oil suddenly boils when the pressure is suddenly reduced, and causes bubbles in the lubricating oil. A lot of foam floated on the oil surface, even filling the crankcase. Once sucked into the cylinder through the intake port, the foam will be reduced to a liquid (a mixture of lubricating oil and refrigerant), which can easily cause liquid shock. Obviously, the liquid shock caused by starting with liquid only occurs during the starting process. Too much oil in the compressor The oil level is higher than the range of the oil sight glass. The high-speed rotating crankshaft and connecting rod head may frequently hit the oil surface, causing a large amount of lubricant splash. Once the splashed lubricating oil enters the intake port and is brought into the cylinder, it may cause liquid hammer. However, for systems with poor oil return, it is dangerous to carefully find the root cause of oil return and blindly add lubricating oil. Even if the oil level is not high temporarily, pay attention to the danger that may occur when the lubricating oil suddenly returns in large amounts (such as after defrosting). Liquid shock caused by lubricating oil is also very common. Compressor does not start Reason: a, high pressure alarm, oil pressure difference alarm, electronic thermal protection, overload, water pressure alarm, etc .; b. The instantaneous starting current is too large, resulting in thermal overload protection or air switch protection; c. The compressor crankshaft bites and the piston cylinder bites; d. The control system is faulty and there is no output control to the compressor; e. Electrical system failures such as PLC failures, AC contactor failures, etc .; Causes and solutions of water pressure alarm Water pressure / flow alarm: Reason: a. The cooling water pressure is lower than the pressure set by the water pressure relay; b. The water pressure relay fails; Solution: a. Make sure that the cooling water pressure is higher than the pressure set by the water pressure relay. Under the condition that the cooling effect of the compressor is not alarmed, the set pressure of the water pressure relay can be appropriately lowered; b. Replace the water pressure relay. As long as the water pressure is higher than the water pressure relay or the water flow set pressure alarm is eliminated. Compressor does not start solution a. Eliminate one by one until you find the problem and eliminate it; b. Identify the cause of the large current and start after resetting the thermal overload. c. Identify the cause and repair the compression d. Seek software designers to come to solve; e. Find out the reason and replace with new parts. Factors of poor cooling effect Reason: a. The expansion valve is too large or too small. The expansion valve is too large. The compressor itself has serious frost accumulation and the excessive liquid volume is too large. The expansion valve is too small and the excessive liquid volume is insufficient; b. The refrigeration system is not clogged smoothly, for example, the filter is clogged, the expansion valve is clogged, the related valves are not opened or not fully opened, and the solenoid valve fails; c. Not enough refrigerant; d. The paper pad on the upper part of the compressor valve plate or the lower part of the cylinder breaks down or breaks or the compressor suction and exhaust valve pieces are broken; Solutions for poor cooling a. Adjust the expansion valve to make the compressor reach the best working condition. b. Find the location and cause of the blockage and clean it in time. c. Replenish the appropriate amount of refrigerant according to the actual working conditions of the compressor. d. Replace with a new paper pad or exhaust valve.
