Five major lubrication methods for compressors in industrial chillers
Everyone knows the principle of industrial chiller compressor. The compressor sucks the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas in the evaporator into the compressor, passes through the compressor, and increases the pressure and temperature of the refrigerant gas before entering the air cooler. , In the cooler, the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas exchanges heat with cooling water or air, and transfers heat to the cooling water or air, so that the refrigerant gas exotherms and condenses into liquid. The high-pressure refrigerant liquid enters the evaporator after being depressurized by the throttle valve. In the evaporator, the low-pressure refrigerant gas absorbs the heat of the refrigerant water to vaporize, and at the same time reduces the temperature of the refrigerant water, and becomes the chilled water required by the device.
Then, according to the characteristics of the compressor structure, the refrigeration equipment can be lubricated in different ways. There are five methods for industrial chiller lubrication:
1. Dripping oil lubrication method
Using the oil cup and the oil pipeline, send the lubricating oil to the parts that should be refueled, or use the oil can to fill the lubricating oil on time.
2. Pressure lubrication method
Using machinery to automatically lubricate the parts with lubricating oil pressure, this method is used in large and medium-sized compressors with crossheads.
3. Spray lubrication method
The sprayed oil mist will follow the gas into the cylinder and other lubrication places, such as super sliding vane compressors, high pressure compressors and screw compressors are all lubricated by oil injection.
4. Oil ring lubrication method
Using the rotating shaft to drive the oil ring movably sleeved on the shaft, the oil ring brings the oil in the oil pool into the bearing and enters the circulation lubrication.
5. Splash lubrication method
The oil is thrown up and splashed to the lubrication parts by the oil rod installed on the connecting rod, so the cylinder and the motion mechanism can only use the same kind of lubricating oil. This method is mostly used in small compressors without crosshead. But its oil is not easy to filter and it is inconvenient to operate. The oil level of industrial chillers must be strictly controlled.
