Recently, the technicians of the DCC device have undergone transformation. The temperature of the small turbine bearing box of the propylene compressor oil station of the device has dropped from 90-120 degrees Celsius to 70-85 degrees Celsius, which eliminates the carbon deposits in the lubricating oil to a certain extent and provides long-term stability for the equipment. The operation provides a strong guarantee, greatly reducing the number of maintenance and spare parts consumption of small turbines.

Site modification

   It is reported that the temperature of the small turbine shell is as high as 230°C during the operation of the propylene refrigeration compressor unit of the DCC unit. Due to the effect of heat conduction and heat radiation, the temperature of the turbine bearing housing is too high, which can reach up to 120°C in summer. The lubricating oil is prone to coking and carbon deposits under high temperature conditions, which will block the oil return hole and the sub-joint of the oil cup root, resulting in poor lubrication of the bearing box, and insufficient lubrication and heat dissipation of friction parts, resulting in increased turbine vibration and serious conditions Damage to the carbon ring seal, shaft, bearing bush, oil seal, oil slinger and other accessories.

External jacketed cooler

   After analysis and empirical judgment, the reason for this phenomenon is that insufficient heat exchange area of the circulating water cooling coil leads to poor lubricating oil cooling effect, high oil temperature, and easy equipment damage during long-term operation. Therefore, the olefin center considers increasing the heat exchange area to increase the heat exchange effect and reduce the lubricating oil temperature. According to the actual situation of the site and the characteristics of the equipment itself, after research and discussion, it was decided to add an external jacketed hot water exchange tank to the bearing box, so as to achieve the purpose of increasing the heat exchange area and reducing the oil temperature.
