The basic oscillation circuit is a parallel resonant circuit of L (coil) and C (capacitance value generated between electrodes).
The oscillation frequency of this circuit is f = 1 / 2π.
Suppose the oscillation frequency when there is no detected object is f1, f1 = 1 / 2π
C: Initial capacitance value (zero point)
When the object to be detected exists, C increases to C+ΔC, and the oscillation frequency becomes f2.
Similarly, the frequency of f2 can be expressed as follows.
f2 = 1 / 2π
C + ΔC: the capacitance value of the detected object (span point)
The frequency change from f1 to f2 is detected, converted into a current signal (4 to 20mA DC) commensurate with the change, and output. In addition,
because it is controlled by a microcomputer, it is possible to output the bias output of the current value, zero, and the inverse of the output current value at
the span point.
