Eurotherm originated in Worthing, West Sussex, the UK in 1965. The company was initially dedicated to the manufacture of temperature controllers. Shortly after the company was established, its products were quickly recognized by customers with its extremely talented scientific research and engineering personnel, advanced algorithms, and precise control.

In 1998 Eurotherm International was acquired by Siebe PLC, which is also part of the London Stock Exchange, and was subsequently renamed Invensys PLC. Invensys was acquired by Schneider Electric in 2014. Now Eurotherm is part of Schneider Electric.
