The SP202E/232E/233E/310E/312E devices are a family of line driver and receiver pairs thatmeet the specifications of RS-232 and V.28 serial protocols with enhanced ESD performance.The ESD tolerance has been improved on these devices to over ±15KV for both Human BodyModel and IEC1000-4-2 Air Discharge Method. These devices are pin-to-pin compatible withSipex'sSP232A/233A/310A/312A devices as well as popular industry standards. As with theinitial versions, the SP202E/232E/233E/310E/312E devices feature at least 120Kbps data rateunder load, 0.1μF charge pump capacitors, and overall ruggedness for commercial applications.This family also features Sipex'sBiCMOS design allowing low power operation withoutsacrificing performance. The series is available in plastic and ceramic DIP and SOIC packagesoperating over the commercial, industrial and military temperature ranges.
