The TC74VHC157 is an advanced high speed CMOS QUAD2-CHANNEL MULTIPLEXER fabricated with silicon gateC2MOS technology.
It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalentBipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low powerdissipation.
It consists of four 2-input digital multiplexers with commonselect and strobe inputs.When the STROBE input is held “H” level, selection of datais inhibited and all the outputs become “L” level.
The SELECT decoding determines whether the A or B inputsget routed to their corresponding Y outputs.An Input protection circuit ensures that 0 to 5.5 V can beapplied to the input pins without regard to the supply voltage.
