UTP A 1915 is used for joining and surfacing in the chemical apparatus construction where a low-carbon,
austenitic CrNiMo weld deposit with less than 0,5 % ferrite is required. Special application field: urea synthesis plants.
Properties of the weld metal
The weld deposit of UTP A 1915 is stainless, IK-resistant and corrosion resistant as low-carbon
CrNiMo(Mn,N)-steels. It is resistant to seawater and has a good resistance to nitric acids.
