Application Notes. The distance from the bending point of the outlet end to the shell should not be less than 1.5mm
A minimum bend radius of 1mm is recommended
To achieve full load rated power dissipation, the termination should not be less than 4mm from the body after soldering
When cool, enamel has excellent insulation resistance; but as the temperature rises, the resistivity decreases
Therefore, if a resistor is operating at or near maximum temperature, it cannot be classified as insulation resistance and should not come into contact with any
conductive material.
