Air compressor alarm mechanism, how much do you know

As a mechanical equipment for manufacturing compressed air, air compressors are inevitable due to long-term operation. If the air compressor fails, it will affect the production of the user enterprise and cause losses. Some failures can be detected and resolved immediately, while some failures cannot. Nowadays, most air compressors have a fault alarm function, which is convenient for users to troubleshoot when a fault occurs.

1. Too high temperature: Refers to the temperature of the oil and gas mixture at the outlet of the compressor, which is greater than or equal to 110°C.

2. The pressure is too high: it means that the outlet pressure of the compressor is higher than 10bar;

  3. Oil and gas separator: The compressed air from the compressor head will contain oil droplets of various sizes. Large oil droplets are easy to separate when passing through the oil and gas separation barrel, but small oil droplets (suspended oil particles with a diameter of less than 1μm) must be filtered through the micron and glass fiber filter layer of the oil and gas separation filter. So as to make the discharged compressed air more pure, high-quality and oil-free. The solid particles in the compressed air will stay in the filter layer when passing through the oil separation core, which causes the pressure difference (resistance) of the oil separation core to increase continuously. As the use time of the oil separation core increases, it must be replaced when the pressure difference of the oil separation core reaches 0.08 to 0.1Mpa.

  4. Air filter: When the air filter is too dirty or clogged, the resistance of air through the filter will increase, and negative pressure will be generated at the inlet of the compressor.

   5. Oil filter: Due to the long-term operation of the air compressor, the impurities in the air will be sucked into the compressor, which will cause the oil filter to be blocked, which will cause the pressure difference before and after the filter to be too large.

   6. High exhaust temperature: refers to poor heat dissipation of the air compressor, abnormal air compressor oil volume and high quality.

  7. Low oil level: Refers to the low oil level in the oil-air separator of the air compressor, and the air compressor lubricating oil cannot be seen through the oil glass.

8. High oil temperature: Due to the long-term and high-speed operation of the air compressor, the oil is aging, the oil return path is not smooth, the oil filter is blocked, and the compressed air from the air compressor will entrain a small part of the oil, causing the air compressor lubricating oil Loss, resulting in high oil temperature.
