The three filters of air compressor mainly include: air filter, oil filter, oil and gas separator. The replacement method of each filter element is slightly different, and the replacement method of the three filters of the air compressor is organized for your reference.

　　 1. Replacement of air filter

The dust in the air sucked by the screw compressor is blocked in the air filter. In order to avoid premature wear of the screw compressor and blockage of the fine filter element in the oil and gas separator, it is usually necessary to clean or replace the air after 500 hours of operation. Filter element; in dusty areas, the replacement time should be shortened. The filter must be shut down when the filter is replaced. In order to reduce the downtime, it is recommended to replace it with a new or cleaned spare filter element.

　　1) Facing a flat surface, tap the two end surfaces of the filter element in turn to remove most of the heavy and dry dust.

　　2) Use dry air of less than 0.28Mpa to blow in the opposite direction to the suction air. The nozzle should be at least 25mm away from the folded paper and blow up and down along its height.

　　3) Check the filter element. If there is any thinning, pinholes or damage, it should be discarded.

　　 2. Replacement of oil filter

　　 1) Unscrew the oil filter and discard it.

　　 2) Carefully clean the filter housing and clear the through holes of the front and rear pressure difference.

　　 3) Check the performance of the differential pressure transmitter.

　　4) Install the new filter element with oil (coating a layer of oil on the seal ring of the filter element).

　　5) When installing the filter element, screw it until it touches the gasket, and then manually tighten it 1/3 turn.

　　6) After booting, check for leaks.

　　 Note: The filter element can be replaced only after the compressor stops running and the pressure is released. In addition, you must be careful to heat the oil to prevent burns and do not spill the oil.

　　 3. Replacement of oil and gas separator filter element

　　 1) Remove the connecting hoses and copper pipes on the minimum pressure valve.

　　 2) Remove the copper pipe of the oil return pipe.

　　3) Remove the cover.

　　4) Pull out the filter element

　　5) Clean the cylinder.

　　6) After replacing the filter element, install it in reverse order.

　　 Note: Before installation, you must check whether the rubber and asbestos pads have anti-static properties (conductive nails must be installed). When installing, it is necessary to prevent dirt from falling into the oil drum. When installing the return pipe, it must be inserted into the bottom of the filter element.
