How to classify air compressors

How to classify air compressors

According to the compression method:

Screw air compressor (screw air compressor), piston air compressor (piston air compressor, reciprocating air compressor), sliding vane air compressor (sliding vane air compressor), centrifugal air compressor ( Centrifugal air compressor)

is divided according to the lubrication method:

Oil-injected air compressor (micro-oil air compressor) is a compression method in which lubricating oil is injected into the compressor body and cooled. Lubricating oil is mixed in the compressed gas. An oil-free air compressor is a compression method that does not use lubricating oil in the compressor. No lubricating oil is mixed in the compressed gas.

is divided according to the highest exhaust pressure:

low pressure air compressor (more than 0.2 kg, less than 7 kg), medium pressure air compressor is our common air compressor (7 kg to 16 kg), high pressure air compressor (more than 16 kg)

   According to the cooling method:

Air-cooled ——————The heat generated in the compression process is cooled by an air-cooled cooler, that is, the compressor is cooled by gas.

Water-cooled ————- The heat generated in the compression process is cooled by a water-cooled cooler, that is, the compressor is cooled by cooling water.

   Classified by compressed gas:

(air compressor, nitrogen compressor, oxygen compressor)

According to the mode of transportation:

fixed type, mobile type (with tires underneath)

   points by power:

Electric air compressor (that is, the air compressor that drives the main engine with a motor), diesel-driven air compressor (the air compressor that drives the main engine with a diesel engine)

   According to the transmission mode:

Belt drive, direct coupling (including coupling)
