Generally, the input level transmitter will be accurately corrected according to the range marked on the nameplate when leaving the factory. Therefore, as long as the measured medium density and other parameters meet the requirements on the nameplate, it does not need to be adjusted. If debugging is really necessary in the later stage, please follow the following steps:

1. Debugging Method of Input Level Transmitter

Input level transmitters are divided into: integrated input level transmitter, split input level transmitter and intelligent input level transmitter. The product is widely used in the measurement and control of water level and liquid level in petroleum, chemical industry, power plant, urban water supply and drainage, hydrological exploration and other fields. The input level transmitter has been accurately calibrated according to the range marked on the nameplate when leaving the factory. As long as the density and other parameters of the medium meet the requirements of the nameplate, there is generally no need to adjust. If you need to adjust the range or zero adjustment, please adjust it according to the following methods.

Unscrew the protective cover and connect the digital ammeter

Figure 2: Unscrew the protective cover and connect the digital ammeter.

1. Unscrew the protective cover and connect the external standard 24VDC power supply and five semi-resolving digital ammeter (accuracy above 0.2%) for adjustment.

2. When there is no liquid in the input level transmitter, adjust the zero resistor to make its output current 4.000 ma.

3. Fill the input level transmitter to the full range and adjust the full range resistor to make the output current 20.000 ma.

4. Repeat the above steps two or three times until the input level transmitter signal is normal.

5. Input 25%, 50% and 75% signals respectively to check the error.

6. For non-aqueous media, when the input level transmitter is calibrated with water, it shall be converted according to the pressure generated by the actual medium density. For example, when the medium density is 1.3, the liquid level sensor with 1m range shall be calibrated with 1.3m water level.

7. Tighten the protective cover after adjustment.

8. Check the input level transmitter once a year.

2. Matters

The text above is the debugging method of input level transmitter. In addition, there are also several points to pay attention to when you use it:

1. During transportation and storage, the level transmitter shall be restored to its original packaging as much as possible, and then stored in a cool, dry and ventilated room.

2. Connect the power supply in strict accordance with the wiring instructions.

3.If the equipment is found to work abnormally during using it, please turn off the power immediately and stop using it. Then check and solve the problem.
