The classification of piston compressor_The advantages and disadvantages of piston compressor Classification of piston compressor (1) Classification according to the position of the cylinder centerline   Vertical compressor: The center line of the cylinder is perpendicular to the ground. Horizontal compressor: The center line of the cylinder is parallel to the ground, and the cylinder is only arranged on one side of the fuselage. Opposed compressor: The center line of the cylinder is parallel to the ground, and the cylinders are arranged on both sides of the fuselage. (If the pistons move relative to each other, it is also called symmetrical balance type) . Angle type compressor: the center line of the cylinder is at a certain angle, and the shape is arranged according to the cylinder. There are L type, V type, W type and S type. (2) Classification according to the number of pressure stages required for the cylinder to reach the final pressure     Single-stage compressor: The gas is compressed to the final pressure once. Two-stage compressor: The gas is compressed to the final pressure after the second compression.     Multi-stage compressor: the cylinder is compressed to the final pressure more than three times. (3) Classification of gas circulation by the piston in the cylinder Single-acting compressor: Only one end of the cylinder performs a compression cycle.    Double-acting compressor: Both ends of the cylinder perform the same compression cycle. Differential compressor: Two or more stages of compression cycles are performed at one or both ends of the cylinder.     (4) Classification according to the number of compressors Single-row compressor: The cylinder is arranged on a center line of the fuselage.    Dual-row compressor: The cylinder is arranged on two center lines on one side or both sides of the fuselage. Multi-row compressor: the cylinder is arranged on more than two midlines on one or both sides of the fuselage Advantages of piston compressor 1. The applicable pressure range of the piston compressor is wide, regardless of the flow rate, it can reach the required pressure; 2. The thermal efficiency of the piston compressor is high, and the unit power consumption is low; 3. Strong adaptability, that is, the exhaust range is wider, and the ring is affected by the pressure level, which can adapt to a wider pressure range and cooling capacity requirements; 4. The maintainability of the piston compressor is strong; 5. Piston compressors have low requirements on materials, and more common steel materials are used, which is easier to process and cheaper to manufacture; 6. Piston compressor is relatively mature in technology, and has accumulated rich experience in production and use; 7. Piston compressor device system is relatively simple. Disadvantages of piston compressors 1. The speed is not high, the machine is big and heavy; 2. The structure is complex, there are many wearing parts, and the amount of maintenance is large; 3. The exhaust is discontinuous, causing airflow pulsation; 4. There is large vibration during operation.
