The Emerson Rectifier Module provides load power, battery float current, and battery recharge current under normal operating conditions. Normally, the rectifier operates in one of three modes (constant voltage mode, constant power mode, and constant current mode) depending on the load demand. Transitions between these modes are completely automatic.

If the ambient temperature is higher or the input voltage is lower than an acceptable value, the rectifier will continue to operate, but the output power will be reduced.
