Causes and removal methods of frost in cold storage evaporator

Causes and removal methods of frost in cold storage evaporator The frost formation of the cold storage refrigeration evaporator should be comprehensively analyzed from various aspects. The design of the evaporator, the evaporator spacing between the fins, and the piping arrangement should be optimized as a whole. The main reasons for the serious frost formation of the cold air cooler are as follows: 1. The maintenance structure, moisture-proof vapor barrier and thermal insulation layer are damaged, causing a large amount of outdoor humid air to enter the cold storage; 2. The cold storage door is not tightly sealed, the door frame or door is deformed, and the sealing strip is aged to lose elasticity or damage; 3. A large amount of fresh goods entered the cold storage; 4. The water-based operation in the cold storage is serious; 5. In and out of goods frequently; Four common methods of defrosting for cold storage evaporators: The first type: artificial defrost In the manual defrosting process, pay attention to safety is the first priority, do not damage the refrigeration equipment. Among them, the frost on the equipment is mostly detached from the refrigeration equipment in a solid form, which has little effect on the temperature inside the cold storage. The disadvantages are high labor intensity, high cost of wasted labor time, incomplete coverage of manual defrosting, incomplete defrosting, and easy damage to refrigeration equipment. The second kind: water-soluble cream As the name suggests, by pouring water onto the surface of the evaporator, the temperature of the evaporator rises, forcing the frost attached to the surface of the evaporator to melt. Water-soluble frost is carried out outside the evaporator, so in the process of water-soluble frost, it is necessary to do a good job of water flow treatment to avoid affecting the normal use of refrigeration equipment and some items placed in the cold storage. Water frosting operation is simple, short time, is a very effective defrosting method. In a cold store with a very low temperature, after repeated frosting, the water temperature is too low, which will affect the effect of frosting; if the frost is not flushed out within the set time, the frost layer may change after the cooler works normally Ice formation makes the next frost more difficult. The third kind: electric heating defrosting The electric heating defrosting is for the equipment that uses the fan cooling in the cold storage, and the electric heating tube or heating wire is installed in the upper, middle and lower layouts of the cooling fan fins, and the fan is defrosted by the thermal effect of current. The method can intelligently control the defrosting through the microcomputer controller, set the defrosting parameters, can realize intelligent timing defrosting, and can greatly reduce the labor time and energy. The disadvantage is that electric heating defrosting will increase the power consumption of the cold storage, but the efficiency is very high. The fourth type: Thermal working fluid defrosting: Defrosting of hot working medium is the use of superheated refrigerant vapor with higher temperature discharged from the compressor. After passing through the oil separator, it enters the evaporator, temporarily treating the evaporator as a condenser, and using the heat released by the condensing of the hot working medium. To melt the frost layer on the surface of the evaporator. At the same time, the refrigerant and lubricating oil originally accumulated in the evaporator are discharged into the defrosting liquid discharge barrel or the low-pressure circulation barrel by means of the hot working medium under pressure or gravity. When the hot gas is defrosted, the load of the condenser is reduced, and the operation of the condenser can also save part of the electric energy. PS: The frost of the cold storage evaporator is severe. In addition to the temperature not falling down, it may also cause the compressor to suffer a wet stroke, liquid shock and other hazards.
