How much should the temperature on the refrigerator be set What can be done to ensure cooling and power saving at the same time

There are two ways to set the temperature of the refrigerator, I will talk about them separately. Generally divided into 5 gears (1~5) or 7 gears (1~7), and some even more. The higher the number on the gear, the lower the temperature in the refrigerator.

Generally use low gear in summer, high gear in winter, and middle gears in spring and autumn. That is, the lower the ambient temperature, the lower the temperature set in the refrigerator

Some refrigerators can set the temperature directly through the display screen. This setting is generally to set the temperature of the refrigerator compartment, and the temperature of the freezer compartment will be linked with the refrigerator compartment. The setting range is generally 1~8℃, and some 1~10℃. The setting principle is the same as the gear position. The lower the ambient temperature, the lower the temperature of the refrigerator.

I only talked about the approximate temperature above, and did not give actual data. The reason is simple, because the temperature varies from place to place. The temperature in winter in Beijing is quite different from that in Guangdong. In the northeast winter, indoor and outdoor are two worlds. Therefore, the user needs to check whether the set temperature is appropriate according to the actual situation, and then adjust it as appropriate.

You can put the food in the refrigerator for 24 hours, then take it out and put it at room temperature to observe the food status. If the food is not cold to the touch, it proves that the set temperature is too high, and the temperature needs to be set lower. If the food emits white smoke at room temperature, it proves that the set temperature is too low and needs to be adjusted higher.

The environment temperature is different, our touch is also different. For example, items that are also 5°C will feel cooler in summer, but not so cold in winter. This is the test principle mentioned above.

Then, why the higher the ambient temperature, the higher the temperature inside the refrigerator? Mainly because the ambient temperature is high, the refrigeration speed of the refrigerator is reduced, and the heat dissipation speed is increased. If the set temperature in the refrigerator is too low, the refrigerator will not stop shutting down. Not only does it increase the electricity bill, it also reduces the life of the refrigerator.

Then why the lower the ambient temperature, the lower the refrigerator temperature set? This is because the refrigerator determines whether it needs to start refrigeration by detecting the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. In winter, the ambient temperature is inherently low-sometimes lower than the set temperature, so the refrigerator will not start cooling at this time. This is nothing for the refrigerator, but the temperature in the freezer is absolutely unattainable.

In order to prevent the refrigerator from not cooling, we have to lower the temperature in the refrigerator compartment. However, some air conditioners now have a temperature compensation function, that is, when the ambient temperature is lower than the set temperature, the compensation is turned on to ensure that the refrigerator can work normally-at this time, the refrigerator temperature can be set according to actual needs.
