How to identify whether the gas storage tank is a simple pressure vessel
Simple pressure vessels that meet the following conditions at the same time do not need to go through the registration procedures. Simple pressure vessels within the recommended service life do not need to be inspected regularly according to "Regular Inspection Rules for Pressure Vessels".
However, the manufacturing unit shall provide the user with the product certificate, instruction manual, as-built drawing (copy) and the manufacturing supervision and inspection certificate issued by the supervision and inspection agency. Simple pressure vessels that have reached the recommended service life should be scrapped.
If they need to be used continuously, the user unit should report to the special equipment inspection and testing agency for regular inspections in accordance with the "Regular Pressure Vessel Inspection Rules".
According to TSG R0003-2007 "Simple Pressure Vessel Safety Technical Supervision Regulations", simple pressure vessels refer to pressure vessels with simple structure and low risk. It is mainly suitable for simple pressure vessels that meet the following conditions at the same time:
1) The container is composed of a cylinder and a flat head, a convex head (not including a spherical crown head), or two convex heads;
2) The material of the main pressure components such as the cylinder, the head and the nozzle is carbon steel and austenitic stainless steel;
3) The design pressure is less than or equal to 1.6 MPa;
4) The volume is less than or equal to 1000L (1 cubic); 5) The product of the working pressure and the volume is greater than or equal to 2.5MPaL, and less than or equal to 1000MPaL;
6) The medium is water vapor formed by evaporation of air, nitrogen and medical distilled water;
7) The design temperature is greater than or equal to -20°C, and the maximum operating temperature is less than or equal to 150°C;
8) Indirect flame welding vessel.
Article 43: The user unit is responsible for the safety management of the use of simple pressure vessels. Simple pressure vessels that meet the scope of application of this regulation do not need to go through the registration procedures. Simple pressure vessels within the recommended service life do not need to be inspected regularly according to the "Regular Inspection of Pressure Vessels".
Article 44: The user unit shall establish equipment safety management files, conduct regular maintenance, inspection, and record and archive of simple pressure vessels. When abnormal conditions are found, they shall promptly request special equipment inspection and testing institutions to conduct inspections.
Article 45: Simple pressure vessels that have reached the recommended service life should be scrapped. If they need to be used continuously, the user should report to the special equipment inspection and testing agency for regular inspections in accordance with the "Regular Pressure Vessel Inspection Rules".
