1.Atlas Copco Atlas, Copco (hereinafter referred to as AC)

AC mainly produces oil-screw air compressors, oil-free screw compressors, centrifuges and some construction machinery. It has multiple factories all over the world. The Wuxi factory in China is relatively large and has undergone several large-scale expansions. It also merged with Liuzhou Fidelity. , Shanghai Bright, sales have entered diversification, while attacking high-end, interrupted, and low-end markets.

IR's global market share is second only to or comparable to AC.

IR is the earliest joint venture company to produce screw compressors in China. It was established in Shanghai in 1987. Before 1995, the production and sales of Shanghai IR were very good. Customers in the market are waiting to buy screw machines, and at this time only IR produces screw machines.

IR is mainly sold through branch offices, with branch offices in major cities across the country, such as Beijing, Shenyang, Qingdao, Wuhan, Three Gorges, Guangzhou, Shanghai, etc. In other regions, IR sells through distribution agents.

Because IR established its factory in China earlier, it has a relatively high reputation. However, because Shanghai IR adopted the production technology 30 years ago, its quality is not very good, and its sales have been greatly affected. In the past 10 years, IR's most profitable product in China has been a centrifugal air compressor. Before 1997, IR occupied 80% of China's domestic imported centrifugal air compressor market. The duties of its sales staff are just busy signing orders and taking customers to the United States for sightseeing. Another profitable product of IR is a mobile air compressor, which is widely used in China.

IR's current advantage is still its popularity, but its disadvantage is that it has two sales systems: one is Far East IR and the other is Shanghai IR. It is difficult to unify the concepts of the members of the two organizations, and the quality of Shanghai IR's products has also weakened its overall competitiveness to a certain extent. Product design has not improved much in the past 30 years. Except for the popularity, the other advantages are almost inconsistent.

Therefore, the current sales status of IR screw machines in China is not very good. Ingersoll Rand’s advantage lies in the quality of its salesmen, which is much higher than Atlas. Of course, its training system is also good in the industry.

3.Gardner Denver (abbreviated as US GD)

GD is a multinational group headquartered in Quincy City, USA. Gardner was founded in 1859. In 1927, Gardner Governor Company merged with Denver Rock Drill Company to form Gardner-Denver. Gardner-Denver continued to grow and was acquired by Cooper in 1979. From 1985 to 1998, Cooper successively acquired Sutorbilt and DuroFlow fans, OPI oil well overhaul pumps and JOY compressors. Due to Cooper Industries' changes in strategy, Gardner Denver separated from the company in 1994 and became an independent company. Low popularity and high price have become GD's defects. Customers are gradually recognizing its good quality. Of course, GD has a long way to go in China.

4. Compair/Demag Compair/Demag (hereinafter referred to as Compair)

Compair is a British company, mainly known in the industry for producing sliding vane air compressors (≤50 HP). Currently, there is no information showing the source of its profit. In recent years, Compair has successively acquired the screw air compressor department of Demag in Germany and Leroi Air Compressor Company in the United States to become a q* air compressor company.

Compair established the Shanghai factory in 1993, but its national sales network in China has not yet been established, so it has not had a great influence.

Compair's advantages are: a. Cheap sliding vane machine; b. Demag screw compressors also have price advantages; c. Complete product variety; d. Set up factories in China.

The disadvantages of Compare are: ①. The product quality is average; ②. The marketing network is not sound; ③. The popularity is not enough.

5. Sullair

Sullair is a subsidiary company of a large American aviation (military industry) company. It has a short history of producing air compressors, mainly screw compressors. Sullair has a branch in q*, in the United States, it is second only to IR air compressor company.

Sullair's China factory is located in Shekou, Shenzhen.

Sullair sells mainly through agents. Before 1999, its agents were mainly Tang Sheng from Taiwan and Keming from Guangzhou. Recently, the number of its agents has greatly increased. At present, Sullair has considerable performance in certain industries, such as textiles and automobiles.

Sullair's main products are oil screw type and mobile type. Its oil screw type has great price competitiveness in the high horsepower type (300HP). It is said that its mobile type has been mainly localized in recent years, and this move will increase its market share. Sullair is currently not well-known, and its investment in China is not large. Its main advantage is that it already has factories in China, and its high-horsepower products are cheaper.

The disadvantage of Sullair lies in the rough appearance of its machines, the lack of visibility and no oil-free products. The advantage is that it has recently established a joint venture with Japan's IHI to produce centrifugal air compressors, which makes up for the lack of oil-free compressors.

6.Quincy Quincy

Quincy is a subsidiary of American Inpro Industrial Group, which manufactures air compressors and vacuum pumps. Founded in 1924 In 1966, Quincy was incorporated into the Kurt Industrial Group. In 1980, Quincy Compressor set up a new factory in Bay Minette, Alabama to produce screws. In 2003, without a military background, Quincy China invested and prepared to establish a Chinese factory. In September 2004, the American Quincy Compressor Company's first factory in China was established in Kunshan Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu. As the sales and manufacturing base of Quincy Compressors in the Asia-Pacific region.

Quincy’s air compressor inherits the American style and Sullair’s appearance is rough, but its noise is also relatively loud.

The popularity is lower than that of Sullair, and the price is in the middle and upper reaches. In China, like GD, there is still a long way to go.

7. Fusheng

F.S. is a joint venture with three factories in China: Zhongshan, Shanghai and Beijing. F.S. has opened the Chinese market through its small piston machines of good quality, with distributors all over the country.

F.S. is already a well-known air compressor manufacturer in China, but its screw compressor is still a representative of low-end compressors.

The biggest advantage of F.S. is its low price and high reputation.

The disadvantages of F.S. are poor quality, oil running, serious oil leakage, and the whole machine feels dirty. In addition, high-horsepower machines have a high failure rate.

7.Kaeser

Kaeser is the largest air compressor manufacturer in Germany with strong production capacity and has the same reputation as BOGE in Europe.

Kaeser has set up a branch in Shanghai, China, and has an agent in Shenzhen. Currently, it has not established a national sales network.

Kaeser does not produce oil-free type. Although its sales are larger than BOGE, its quality is worse than BOGE. The sense of innovation is not strong, and the overall situation is going downhill.

Kaeser's advantage is that it is very famous in Europe and its price is competitive.

Kaeser's disadvantage is that the network is not sound and the sense of innovation is not enough.
