The cold water (freezing) machine displays the reverse phase loss fault quick troubleshooting

The cold water (freezing) machine shows a reverse phase loss fault, which is a common fault of abnormal power supply. The reason for this failure is simple, and it is very convenient to repair, as long as there is a little electrician foundation, it can be easily solved!

The power supply of the chiller (freezer) is powered by a three-phase four-wire system. There are directional restrictions in the operation of some electrical accessories of the equipment. Besides, the motor is not allowed to run without phase, which will cause mechanical failure or burn the motor coil. Therefore, the chiller manufacturers have installed power protection devices (phase sequence and phase failure protection relays).

The failure of "reverse phase loss" is nothing more than the following conditions:

One, the power protector is broken

When the equipment is normally powered on, close the air switch in the control box. At this time, the indicator light on the power protector will light up (red means power is supplied, yellow means power is normal), if only the red light is on, it means three One phase power supply is missing or the three-phase power supply sequence is incorrect. If it is confirmed that the power supply is normal, but the indicator light of the power protector is off, it means that the protector is damaged.

The power protector is located in the control box. Open the control box panel, you can see an accessory with the word "RD6" on it. This is the power protector. As shown below:

Treatment: Determine whether the phase is missing or reversed according to the light on the protector. Use a multimeter to find out the cause of one less phase of the three-phase power supply and eliminate it, or change the order of the three-phase power supply (change the order of the two at will). Or replace the power protector.

Two, power supply lack of phase or phase sequence reversed

This problem can be basically judged by our power protector. When the power protector only has a red light on, it can basically be regarded as a lack of phase or a reverse phase sequence.

deal with:

Check the three-phase power supply with a multimeter to find out the cause of the lack of phase. Or change the order of any two of the three-phase power supply.
