Types of steam compressors_selection of steam compressors Types of steam compressors 1. Single-stage high-speed centrifugal blower This type of steam compressor is a relatively common steam compressor on the market. It can have a large air volume and pressure and can meet the needs of many working conditions. The single-stage high-speed centrifugal blower is designed with a ternary flow theory, and the whole structure of the fan is compact , And the technology is relatively mature. 2. Roots type steam compressor There are many Roots-type steam compressors on the market. The main market is the working condition with a processing capacity of less than 5t/h. The price of Roots-type steam compressors is more cost-effective than single-stage high-speed centrifugal blowers. If it is small, a Roots-type steam compressor can be used. 3. Screw type steam compressor Screw-type steam compressor is a volumetric rotary compressor with high compression ratio and temperature rise of up to 50 degrees Celsius. It can also operate normally at high temperature. The processing capacity of screw-type steam compressor is smaller than the previous two. And the overall dynamic balance performance and vibration amplitude are slightly inferior to Roots type steam compressor and centrifugal type steam compressor. 4. Reciprocating steam compressor The main features of reciprocating steam compressors are: can deal with high-pressure or ultra-high pressure working environment, so if our steam compression requires very high pressure, we can use reciprocating steam compressors. Among the steam compressors, the above four types are common compression equipment. Among the four types, Roots type and centrifugal type steam compressors are more common. Steam compressor selection How to choose steam compressor? This is a headache, because the steam compressor is currently in the development period in the market, so there is not a lot of professional knowledge. Today, based on our past experience, East China Fan will explain how to choose a steam compressor! When selecting a steam compressor, we need to prepare the following parameters, which can basically be selected. 1. Steam treatment capacity There are two main types of MVR steam compressors on the market, one is the Roots steam compressor, and the other is the single-stage high-speed centrifugal steam compressor. These two are widely used in the market. The capacity will be larger, and the processing capacity of the Roots-type steam compressor will be smaller, so the processing capacity of the steam compressor is also a selection criterion. 2. Temperature rise value The temperature rise value is also a very important selection parameter. Generally, the temperature rise of the Roots fan is about 20 ℃, and beyond this temperature rise, a single-stage high-speed centrifugal steam compressor needs to be used. 3. Import and export pressure difference The pressure difference between inlet and outlet is also an important selection parameter. The pressure difference between inlet and outlet of Roots steam compressor is between 65-98kpa, and the single-stage high-speed pressure difference is wider. 4. Inlet air temperature Roots-type steam compressors have certain requirements for the intake air temperature. Generally, the intake air temperature is 80-85℃, and the intake air temperature of the single-stage high-speed centrifugal blower is wider. 5. Compressor material There are many types of steam compressor materials, some are nickel-chrome plated, some are made of 304 stainless steel, and some are 306 stainless steel. The material does not understand the basic selection, but it has a greater impact on the price. Steam compressor When selecting a steam compressor, you can basically consider these points. You can choose a steam compressor. Because the cost of a steam compressor is expensive, you must carefully examine it when purchasing.
