Baldor, established in 1920, is a listed company in the United States. In 2007, it acquired two brands, Reliance Electric and Dodge, under Rockwell Automation. ABB Group acquired Baldor Electric in 2010.
In 2018, ABB's motor unit integrated part of the Baldor motor business. The original Baldor motor and Reliance motor business are collectively referred to as ABB-NEMA motor business.
Baldor produces BALDOR drives (Baldor DC drives) for controlling DC motors. BALDOR adjustable speed drives (Baldor inverters) have the following kinds:
● Chassis Drive is a chassis-mounted adjustable-speed DC drive for 1/100-3/4 horsepower motors. Speed control is designed for 90 VDC PM and parallel motors. The speed range can be 50:1, and the load regulation rate includes 1%.
● NEMA 1 Drive, this one-way SCR drive uses a speed control module to prevent motor failure due to demagnetization and includes AC line and armature fuses, as well as barrier terminal connection blocks.
● NEMA 4X Drive is a flushable and full-wave regenerative variable speed DC drive with a waterproof housing, designed to operate 90 and 180-volt permanent magnet and DC shunt motors in bidirectional mode. The unique automatic suppression circuit can achieve a safe and stable start during the rapid cycle of the AC line.
As a trusted distributor of Baldor products for many years, O&Kmarts can provide a broad series of Baldor variable frequency drives (VFDs) at competitive prices.
