Energy saving ways and methods for cold storage
1. Optimize energy saving from a design perspective
(1) Reasonably determine the control temperature of the design cold storage, and reduce the temperature difference between the return air. Calculations show that increasing the temperature of the cold storage from -30°C to -25°C can save electricity by 9.8%. Reduce the temperature difference between the refrigerant evaporating temperature and the temperature in the cold storage. According to estimates, when the evaporating temperature drops by 1°C, it will consume 3% to 4% more electricity. In addition, reducing the temperature difference will significantly reduce the dry consumption of food stored in the warehouse.
(2) When multiple cold storage is equipped with refrigeration equipment, it is recommended to use a distributed refrigeration system instead of centralized cooling in the computer room. This helps to improve the refrigeration efficiency of refrigeration equipment, improve the accuracy of load regulation, and enhance the reliability of the system. The system can save energy by 15%-20%.
(3) Equipped with reasonable cooling capacity, the compressor cooling capacity is reasonably matched with the actual cooling capacity of the cold storage. After calculating and summarizing the cooling load of the cold storage, do not blindly increase the insurance coefficient and increase the equipment power and cooling capacity too much.
(4) Design a closed low-temperature platform or buffer room in the low-temperature cold storage, which can reduce the temperature fluctuation of the cold storage and achieve energy-saving effects.
(5) It is recommended that the cold storage design adopt hot gas defrosting, which has good temperature uniformity, fast defrosting speed and low energy consumption. At the same time, pay attention to the defrost control and defrost in time to avoid excessive frost layer affecting the refrigeration efficiency.
(6) In terms of control, the use of a highly automated control system can achieve good energy-saving effects. According to relevant statistics, automatic control can save energy by 10% to 15% compared with manual control.
2. Realize energy saving from the aspect of operation management
(1) Reasonably start up and reduce compressor power consumption. For the cold storage equipment that is started up by manual operation, the control system is modified to realize automatic energy-saving control. For large-capacity cold storage, when the storage of goods is small and the load is low, the storage should be adjusted in time, and the storage should be concentrated to the small-volume cold storage.
(2) Clean the dirt of the condenser regularly to avoid the condensation temperature rising. According to statistics, the 1.5mm thick scale on the water side surface of the water-cooled condenser will cause the condensation temperature to rise by about 2.80℃ and increase the power consumption of the refrigeration device by 9% to 10%.
(3) Implement large, medium and small maintenance system. According to the conditions of use, general compressors should be overhauled after 10,000 hours of operation, medium repairs should be carried out for 5000 hours, and minor repairs should be made for 1000 hours.
(4) Strengthen the maintenance of the cold storage project of the cold storage door, effectively maintain the cold storage door, and ensure the sealing of the cold storage door. Minimize the time and frequency of opening doors, and add PVC soft curtains or high-efficiency air curtains.
(5) Pay attention to maintaining the insulation effect of the cold storage of the insulation material. When replacing part of the insulation material that has lost its thermal insulation effect, check the moisture-proof material at the same time. If the insulation material fails due to the aging of the moisture-proof material, replace the moisture-proof material at the same time.
(6) Adjust the defrosting parameter control in time according to the season or weather change to improve the refrigeration efficiency while ensuring the reduction of defrosting energy consumption.
(7) Pay attention to the reasonable allocation of the space utilization in the cold storage and the way of placing the goods to facilitate storage and retrieval, effectively shorten the operation time of the warehouse, and reduce the cooling load brought by the warehouse.
