Gas stove solenoid valve working principle and classification

Working principle of solenoid valve of gas stove

In gas stoves, the working principle of the solenoid valve is to control the mechanical movement by controlling the current of the electromagnet. There is a closed cavity in the solenoid valve of the gas stove, and there are through holes in different positions, each through hole is connected to a different oil pipe, and the middle of the cavity is a piston, two sides are two electromagnets, which side of the magnet coil passes The valve body will be attracted to where, by controlling the movement of the valve body to open or close the different oil discharge vents and the oil inlet is normally open, the hydraulic oil will enter the different oil discharge pipes, and then pass the pressure of the oil To push the piston of the cylinder, the piston drives the piston rod, and the piston rod drives the mechanical device.

  When the thermocouple in the solenoid valve of the gas stove is heated, a thermoelectric potential is generated and the solenoid valve can be operated.

  The working principle of the gas stove: when the knob is pressed and the small fire is ignited, the thermocouple is heated by its flame, generating a thermoelectric potential. The thermoelectric potential is introduced into the electromagnetic coil through the wire, generating a magnetic field to attract the solenoid valve, the gas valve is opened, and the combustion path is opened to maintain its normal combustion. Once it encounters an overflow of wind or soup, extinguish the flame, the thermoelectric potential of the thermocouple quickly drops to Zero, the coil is de-energized, the solenoid valve fails, and it is quickly reset under the action of the spring. The valve closes the gas passage and terminates the gas supply to ensure safety.

  Gas stove thermocouple protection device, pay attention to maintain the distance between the thermocouple and the fire cover.

In general, the height of the gas stove thermocouple should be basically the same as the height of the fire cover, and the allowable error is 1±0.5mm. The distance between the gas stove thermocouple and the fire cover should not be too far. It is generally best to maintain a distance of 4±0.5mm. If the installation position is too low, the thermocouple of the gas stove will not be heated enough, and the generated thermoelectric potential will not be enough, which will not cause the solenoid valve to pull in. The installation position is too high, the flame contact is too large, and it is easy to burn the thermocouple. The same reason is too far. If the thermoelectric potential is insufficient, the solenoid valve will not be attracted.

  Classification of gas stove solenoid valve

   Gas stove solenoid valves are generally classified into three categories: direct-acting solenoid valves, step-by-step direct-acting solenoid valves, and pilot-type solenoid valves.

   1. The direct-acting solenoid valve can work normally under vacuum, negative pressure and other environments;

   2. The power of the step-by-step direct-acting solenoid valve is large, and the requirements of the installation level are high;

   3. The upper limit of the fluid pressure range of the pilot solenoid valve is high, and can be installed arbitrarily, but the premise is that the fluid pressure difference condition is met.

   Now, the solenoid valves of various gas stoves sold on the market have powerful functions, long service life and high safety.
