Installation, selection and adjustment of air conditioner flow switch

Installation, selection and adjustment of air conditioner flow switch Water flow switches are also called flow switches. Water flow switches are widely used in water systems of chillers and air conditioning projects. It can ensure the safe and efficient operation of air conditioning systems. When the water flow changes, the force of the water flow on the target makes the lever rotate, and the control circuit is closed or opened, so as to achieve the purpose of automatic control. Switch wiring screws are marked with red and yellow, red is the common terminal of the two groups of switches, yellow is normally open contact, and the other is normally closed contact. When the liquid flow in the pipeline increases, the switch acts, the normally closed contact becomes a normally open contact, and the normally open contact becomes a normally open contact.

Flow switch installation The flow switch should be installed on a straight pipe, and there must be at least 5 times the diameter of the straight pipe on both sides. When screwing the flow switch into the pipe tee, in order to prevent the switch from being damaged, it is not allowed to hold the housing for installation. You must use a hex wrench to hold the hexagon of the valve body for installation. When the flow switch is tightened, the flow direction piece should be perpendicular to the flow direction of the fluid, and the direction of the arrow on the flow switch housing should be consistent with the flow direction of the fluid in the pipe. The flow switch can be installed in a horizontal pipe or a vertical pipe with upward flow direction, but cannot be installed in a pipe with downward flow direction. The flow switch cannot be subjected to water shock. If a quick closing valve is installed under the water flow switch, a suitable restrictor must be used to prevent water flow shock. Selection of flow direction film In order to enable the switch to sense the change of flow, the flow direction piece shall not be in contact with the pipeline or any other device in the pipeline. To check for contact, remove the flow switch housing and gently press the main lever back and forth several times with your hands to feel there is no obstruction; if there is no obstruction, it proves that there is no contact. The flow switch has a removable flow direction piece. Different flow direction pieces can be selected according to the actual installation status. If there is no suitable length of the flow direction piece, it can be trimmed with a slightly longer flow direction piece. However, the installation of the flow direction piece should not be too short, too short will affect the sensitivity of the switch, and seriously will make the switch inoperative. Adjusted flow switch factory adjustment is near the minimum flow value, and it must not be adjusted below the factory setting during use, otherwise it will cause the switch to not return to the "no flow" position. If you need to increase the flow value, you should turn the adjustment screw clockwise. If you want to decrease the flow rate after increasing the factory setting, you can turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise. After the adjustment is completed, check that the setting value of the flow switch is not lower than the factory setting. Press the main lever several times to check whether the switch clicks when the main lever returns. Once it is found, it should rotate clockwise Adjust the screw until there is a "click" sound when the lever returns. Flow rate adjustment is too high, the flow direction piece cannot be driven at low flow rate, and the switch cannot be operated. Flow rate adjustment is too low, the switch is too sensitive, resulting in misoperation. PS: During use, the flow direction of the water flow switch is prone to fatigue failure due to long-term bending and compression, resulting in failure to reset normally when there is a lack of flow, resulting in failure. The quality of the water flow switch directly affects the normality of the refrigeration equipment.
