Overview of sensors for air compressors

A sensor (transducer/sensor) is a detection device that can feel the information to be measured, and can transform the sensed information into electrical signals or other required forms of information output according to a certain rule, so as to meet the needs of information transmission, Processing, storage, display, recording and control requirements.

The characteristics of sensors include: miniaturization, digitization, intelligence, multi-function, systemization, and networking. It is the first link to realize automatic detection and automatic control. The existence and development of sensors give objects the senses of touch, taste and smell, and make objects slowly become alive. According to its basic perception function, it is usually divided into ten categories: heat sensitive components, photosensitive components, gas sensitive components, force sensitive components, magnetic sensitive components, humidity sensitive components, acoustic components, radiation sensitive components, color sensitive components, and taste sensitive components.

It not only promotes the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, but also may establish new industries, which will become a new economic growth point in the 21st century. Miniaturization is based on the micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) technology and has been successfully applied to silicon devices to make silicon pressure sensors.

Proximity sensor project is a general term for sensors that replace contact detection methods such as limit switches and perform detection without touching the detection object.

The proximity sensor engineering project is a very important member of the sensor family and is widely used in industry. Although the price of a single proximity sensor is not very high, it is generally required by factories in batches, so proximity sensors also have a large market. When it comes to proximity sensors, everyone knows that the more famous Turck, Omron, Balluff, etc., these sensor brands have occupied a large market for proximity sensors for a long time.

In the past, domestic proximity sensor engineering projects mainly relied on imported brands such as Turck, Omron, and Balluff. Imported proximity sensors could not meet the needs of many customers due to their high prices and long lead times. Many domestic factories hope to find domestic proximity sensors. In this situation, many sensor manufacturers began to produce proximity sensors. At first they introduced foreign machines and talents to imitate imported proximity sensors. However, with the development of domestic sensor technology, there are now many proximity sensors of independent brands. To a large extent, it has been able to meet domestic needs.

At present, many domestic factories use domestic proximity sensors or are trying to use domestic proximity sensors. Proximity sensors no longer rely on imported brands.
