What is Visual Flame Detector?

On the basis of traditional flame detectors, image-type flame detectors combine intelligent camera control technology and intelligent image processing technology. It can effectively eliminate interference sources through visual monitoring, and achieve accurate and effective fire alarms. It is suitable for indoor tall spaces, outdoors, tunnels and other places.

Applications of Visual Flame Detector

First of all, in complex scenes. Fires occurring inside complex scenes are difficult to detect. However, the visual flame detector uses visible light and near-infrared binocular multispectral methods to collect images, which can effectively and quickly identify and locate the flame, and then issue an alarm signal.

Then, places with strong flame radiation. Visual flame detector has the characteristics of intelligence, real-time, wide range and high sensitivity. If the flame is accompanied by strong radiation, conventional detectors may not be able to react and make decisions effectively. However, the visual flame detector has high sensitivity and can clearly detect and determine whether there is a fire.

Finally, places that require advance fire prevention, such as subway stations and road tunnels. A fire at these places can cause incalculable losses. But visual flame detector’s instant reaction and in-time determination can detect flame relatively in advance, so as to protect the people and properties.
